Aw, this was a really great post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking some time and effort to make a good article but what can I say... I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get anything done.

Natnic,

At that time that I wrote this post, that's how I interpreted what Olivia meant. Things said can be interpreted in many ways. I can see your point here, but I also see my point in how I interpreted what Olivia meant.

I think you misunderstood the meaning of the line:
Olivia: “I’m not that person.” Natalia: “What person?” Olivia: “The person who sees the good in everything she does.”

Olivia is not the person that sees the good in everything Olivia does. Emma sees the good in everything she does. Olivia sees the good in everything Emma does but she does not see the good in everything she herself does.

I understood she=Olivia in that sentence.

I am very sorry that you saw that spoiler. I loved your "spoiler-free" writings. I have my own theories about where this is going and I do not think it is a "jump the shark" moment at all. But, I do think that, in the context of the writers trying to give closure to a number of storylines, it may not play out as lots of Otalia fans ideally would want. But, I do think it will play out in a way that makes total sense for these women and their place in the community. And, that is the opposite of "jumping the shark". Anyway, try to hang in there and avoid those spoilers! I really appreciate your work.
