JFaye,

I want to believe. I really do; however, I am sticking with this story line until the end. It's a beautiful journey that I cannot miss a single second of.

I understand you climbing out onto the ledge. TV executives and soaps have let us down time and time again, but I don't think that is going to happen this time. I know you said you don't read spoilers, but I have been at peace with the pace, the direction and the vision of the writers since listening to CC and Jessica's respective podcast interviews. I have let go of my expectations, preconceived notions and tendancy to want to tell this story myself, rather than let it play out as envisioned. I am on the ride and not getting off until it's over. I may end up disappointed, but life is full of disappointments, and I don't want to miss one minute of the Otalia experience.

Ali,

I agree about the hiking scenes. I was enjoying watching Olivia be so happy and be so free. And yes, I also noticed the role reversal there where you'd think Natalia would be the outdoors one and Olivia the indoor type. However, Olivia's comment about her growing up on an island made perfect sense as to why she would like the outdoors to me.

Some of these soap execs need to realize that soap fans are not stupid. We are, in fact, quite smart! It's so frustrating to be treated like we don't know how a character should act or we don't remember something that occurred 5,10,15 or even 20 years ago. As for good, slow, logical, and "realistic" storytelling? Ha! It's easier to find life on Mars than to get that on soaps. Only a couple of soaps are doing it right as far as I'm concerned.

On the chore comment...hahahaha! I'm sorry yet I'm not sorry. It's flattering to know that you (or anyone else) can get wrapped up in what I wrote. Besides, I'd like to think that my posts are more fun than chores. But thank you so much. It's nice to know that all of the effort and hard work I put into these Otalia posts are appreciated :)

Suzysak,

Thank you! I really didn't think I would start a new Otalia buzz word with "purple blocking." I figured it was a clever yet tactful way of describing the more, um naughtier term for the kind of blocking Blake and Emma were doing. :)

BBK,

I too am not as full of angst after the 05/06 episode but am still on the ledge. And thank you for enjoying what I wrote. LOL. Something tells me that I may have inadvertently kicked off something with the "purple blocking" term.

The fight scene and everything leading up to it was amazing. I was smiling when I first saw these scenes because I recognized it for what it was. That Guiding Light is pretty darn clever. It was genius with how they did that. I am definitely noticing the efforts that this show is making with the little that they have. It says a lot when I pay attention to everything they're doing cause I don't do that with other soaps.

Riot,

Thank you for the lovely, purplish compliment! :)

I love studying everything about Otalia as I'm sure you and everyone else can tell. LOL. It's truly a treasure to watch them whenever they are on my screen. And I agree about the slow build up. When the physical part of Otalia happens, I definitely want it to be mind-blowin!

Mandotwang,

Thank you so very much. And yes, I still have, um...interesting reactions to lattes and peanut butter. Darn that Crystal Chappell :) And yes, everyone has been doing an amazing job. This show is sensational!

Toya,

Thanks. I definitely wanted to come up with something nice yet funny to describe the Olivia/Blake/Natalia scenes. Hence the "purple blocking" was born.

DocT,

Thank you. Wow, I guess we're all on the same page about the "love scene." And I agree with the comment about their lovemaking.
