Fill Your Ears with Musical Ear Candy by Wendy & Lisa

Wendy & Lisa Album Ratings

If you aren’t listening to Wendy & Lisa, you should be because you’re really missing out. If you thought two of The Revolution’s most visible members disappeared, they didn’t. Other than carving out a career as TV/film scorers (i.e. Heroes, Something New) Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman have recorded five albums:

  • Wendy & Lisa (1987)
  • Fruit at the Bottom (1989)
  • Eroica (1990)
  • Girl Bros. (1998)
  • White Flags of Winter Chimneys (2008)

Plug into their music and find out why these two musicians are one of the most underrated musical acts within the past two decades. You can purchase their music at Amazon, iTunes, or their official site (Girl Bros. and White Flags of Winter Chimneys only with bonus tracks).

Well I have to say I am a bit surprised your lowest markings was FOB.

I had felt the same way back in the day, but that CD has really grown on me over the years.

I’d give it a 4.5. I also understand you may not want to make it too easy.. hahahaha

    Suejester,

I know that a lot people really love the FATB LP. I do, too, but I tend to listen to the other W&L LPs more. That’s how I’m scoring.

The fact that these ladies were able to maintain at least a four star LP rating is a phenomenal accomplishment. With artists over a long period of time, there is normally a LP that sucks. Wendy & Lisa haven’t even made an average, much less suckfilled LP throughout their career. I think that’s amazing!

I completely understand your point. I agree the fact these women have been able to maintain such a high score across the board is quite impressive…No artist has been that successful for me either..
