One Excellent Reason to Watch True Blood
HBO’s True Blood series is one of my favorite new TV series to debut the fall of 2008. The fact that the show was about vampires was enough to entice me to watch the first episode. While I didn’t fall in love with the True Blood immediately, there was enough that intrigued me. One of the things that kept me watching was the hilarious, smart, and snarky character of Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), best friend of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin). Check out Tara in one of the best scenes of the first season with Miss Jeanette, an exorcist who attempts to drive the demon out of Tara.
