I think there is a lot of hype about Web 2.0 companies these days to the point where dumb startups are being founded. You also constantly hear about how the Web 1.0 veterans have “learned from the past” and are being more careful now, a philosophy that’s repeated by CEOs/founders in this video. It appears that these guys have been reading the same blog posts about how Internet startups are different now than the ones founded in the past. If you keep up with what’s going on in the Web 2.0 world, you’ve probably heard that a lot; I know I have.
